Rachel Boettigheimer, a passionate Special Education Teacher from Valhalla, New York, began her career as a Teaching Assistant in the Valhalla Union Free School District (2006-2010). She holds a Bachelor’s from Mercy College and a Master’s in Special Education from the College of New Rochelle.
Rachel integrates her love for travel and reading into the classroom through creative initiatives like ‘Reading Around the World,’ promoting cultural awareness and literacy. She also secures additional resources via DonorsChoose and participates in community events such as the MS Walkathon, driven by a personal connection to the cause.
